About Analia Segal

Analia Segal is an Argentine artist who is best known for her ability to navigate the porous boundaries between art, design, and architecture, intertwining the conceptual, aesthetic, and functional nature of the objects that surround us. She graduated as a Graphic Designer from the University of Buenos Aires and received her Masters in Art from New York University. Segal is a Guggenheim Fellow, and has received grants from the Pollock Krasner Foundation, New York Foundation for the Arts, Fundación Konex, Fundación Antorchas, and 100% Design. Her work has been exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally, as well as published widely. Her work is included in private and public collections, including the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires, Holon Design Museum, Blanton Museum of Art, and El Museo del Barrio. Since 1999, she has lived and worked in New York City, where she is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Fine Arts at Pratt Institute.
