  • Species of Spaces, 2014, dimensions variable, mixed media

"For this project, I had studio visits with 45 artists who had worked with/shown at/had studios in Smack Mellon, and collected remnants and objects from their practice. I showed their work on shelves made of scavenged wood, in grids that reflected the windows on the opposite wall, adding my own interventions using wire, dust patterns, tape, and snap chalk."

  • Impermanent Collection, detail, dimensions variable, mixed media, 2015.

"I met with the art faculty at Bethel University, and gathered the detritus from their studio practice. I used these materials, along with stuff scavenged from the school wood-shop and print-shop, to make an installation. This image shows glaze test tiles from the ceramics teacher and a found photograph from the graphic design teacher."

  • Three Versions, 2016, found papers, drop cloth, embroidery, color-aid paper, overall dimensions 30 x 40 inches

  • Weaving, donated paint rags, thumbtacks, nails, and thread, overall dimensions approximately 40 x 40 inches
