Art Education Program
The Foundation, in collaboration with local Community Centers, has established free art classes for artistically inclined young people in grades three through twelve. The instructors are either Foundation Grant Recipients or other accredited artists. The purpose of these classes is to teach the fundamentals of art – drawing, painting and sculpture – to young people and to support local artists in the process.
Saturday Studio classes are currently being held in New York City at five centers:

Saturday Studio SPRING TERM classes begin April 10, 2010.
Applications will be accepted now through Friday, March 19th.

For Middle and High School Students
Our Student Opportunities and Support (SOS) program offers students help with portfolio development and high school/art college preparation through special workshops and one-on-one assistance. We are now registering students for our two-week summer intensive portfolio workshops, taught by SOS Coordinator Eve Krawiec.

This Program is conducted annually with the selection of approximately twenty-five recipients in recognition of artistic merit and financial need, to further their artistic careers.

MFA Grant Program
BY NOMINATION ONLY -- PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT
The MFA Grant Program is conducted annually, with the selection of fifteen recipients who are to receive a Masters in Fine Arts degree from a recognized graduate art facility in painting or sculpture. The purpose of this award is to assist in furthering the recipient's artistic career and their transition from academic to professional studio work.
