Joan Mitchell Center Residency, 2019
I seek to access universal concepts in a meditative state melding figuration, intuition, and my understanding of ritual, with a reverence for materials as the basis of my visual language. Rituals explore universal life truths, distilling a myriad of experience into a beautifully choreographed dance. Our collective connections are evident within these explosive celebrations of universal truths.”
