I envision my process in the shape of an irregular, imperfect, yet complete circle: rethinking, rebuilding, and repairing are always subject to acts of chance and potential disruption or failure. Responding to the will of the materials and process keeps me in a playful conversation with the art as opposed to having authority over it. The resulting work is a melding of the observed, the imagined, and the felt.”
