We are pleased to announce the 32 artists who have been awarded residencies at the Joan Mitchell Center in New Orleans for the coming year. The residency program provides artists with studio space, lodging, and financial and career-development support.

I heard about the Joan Mitchell Foundation Emergency Grant from a fellow New Orleans artist who I was working with on a mural project, and I applied for and received a grant from the Foundation.
