Current & Upcoming Events

We present public programs, open studios, and exhibitions at the Foundation in New York and the Joan Mitchell Center in New Orleans. We also partner with other institutions on events related to our programs and community of artists.

In a white walled studio hang three large vertical photographs of two dreamy seaside landscapes, and an aerial view of green mountains. Facing the artwork are two people: one has medium dark skin and wears a blue dress and wedge sandals, and the other has light skin, wears a white button up, jeans and running shoes.
