Christina Bogart

In her role as Accounting Associate, Christina supports the foundation's financial operations by managing accounts payable, cash receipts and deposits, general ledger maintenance, record keeping, and various clerical tasks. With a passion for finance and a knack for detail, Christina joins the Joan Mitchell Foundation with six years of leadership and finance experience. She attended the American University of Rome, where she received a B.S. in Business Administration & Finance. Outside of the Joan Mitchell Foundation, Christina is a Co-Founder and the Chief Financial Officer of Theory of Change, an avant-garde organization that prioritizes resource mobilization and community building, through orchestrating quarterly music-centered fundraising events that support local organizations and mutual aid. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with her partner and their little chihuahua, Coco.
