Summer Portfolio Intensive

Each summer from 2007–2015, the Foundation’s Art Education Program provided portfolio development workshops for middle and high school students. Led by the Foundation's Artist-Teachers, participants explored the myriad cultural resources of New York City, developed their skills in drawing from observation, and created works to cultivate their portfolio. Middle school participants developed a portfolio for applying to NYC specialized art high schools. High school participants began to craft a portfolio for art and design college admissions.

This program will not be available during summer 2016. From the June of 2016 through the end of 2017, the Foundation will be focusing on research and will pilot innovative educational opportunities for the artist community. We look forward to sharing the new education model with you in 2018.
