Joey Cabrera

As Associate Archivist, Joey Cabrera provides research support and access to the Joan Mitchell Foundation's archival collections in person and remotely. She oversees cataloguing of photographic materials in the Archives, as well as publication requests for archival materials, and she contributes to educational resources about Mitchell's life and work. Prior to joining the Foundation, Joey provided archives reference to staff and external researchers at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Library and Archives. Joey was previously Project Archivist on two audiovisual projects at the Guggenheim Museum and Assistant Archivist on several projects at New York Public Radio. She holds a Master's degree in Library Science with a certificate in Archives and Records Management from the Palmer School of Long Island University.
